Specialized dealers: Several counters in the historic center (Multergasse, Marktgasse) buy gold by weight. Always compare at least 3 offers — margin differences can reach 10% on small lots.
Tip: Eastern Switzerland is less competitive than Zurich or Geneva for buyback. If your lot exceeds CHF 10,000, it may be worth traveling to Zurich (1 hour by train) for tighter spreads.
